Equal Justice Initiative

Founded in 1989 by Bryan Stevenson, the Equal Justice Initiative is a nonprofit organization committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society. With the reach and influence of EJI growing, there was an urgent need for their various initiatives to visibly tie back to their organization. A design solution that prioritizes clarity and accessibility works to amplify the organization’s reach and impact.
